Luggage Lockers in Marrakech: What Actually Exists
There are no self-service luggage lockers in Marrakech — not at the ONCF train station, not at Menara airport, not at the bus stations. The only reliable options are your hotel's luggage room if you are a guest, and staffed storage like ours, from 10 MAD per hour.
Why you won't find lockers in Marrakech
Many travellers look for the coin lockers common in European or Japanese stations. That system does not exist in Marrakech. The ONCF station has no working automatic storage, Marrakech Menara airport offers none either, and the few lockers you might spot in private venues are not open to the public.
That gap is exactly why staffed storage developed here: a locked room, a team on site, and tracking by booking reference.
Locker vs staffed storage: the real differences
Beyond availability, the two are not equivalent.
- Bag size: a locker imposes its dimensions. Staffed storage takes anything from a backpack to an oversized item above 75 litres.
- Security: a locker is an unattended compartment. Our luggage sits in a locked room, each bag registered against a reference.
- Flexibility: lockers usually charge a full block of time. We bill from the hour, and you can extend.
- Extras: staffed storage can also deliver your bags to your riad, hotel or the airport — a locker cannot.
What staffed storage costs in Marrakech
Rates depend on bag size: 10 MAD per hour for a small bag, 15 MAD for a medium suitcase, 20 MAD for a large one, 25 MAD for an oversized item. Per day, expect 60 to 90 MAD per bag. You pay in cash when you hand the bags over — nothing upfront.
