Luggage Storage at Marrakech Menara Airport
Marrakech Menara airport has no public left-luggage office. To store your bags between hotel check-out and a late flight, you have two options: drop them at one of our two city locations (from 10 MAD per hour), or have us collect them from the airport for 80 MAD, plus 20 MAD per additional bag.
Is there luggage storage at Marrakech Menara airport?
No. Unlike many European airports, Marrakech Menara (RAK) offers no public luggage storage — neither in departures nor arrivals — and there are no self-service lockers in the terminal.
This catches out a lot of travellers whose flight leaves in the evening while their riad check-out is in the morning. The only on-site option is to keep your bags with you, which is impractical if you want one last day in the city.
Two ways we cover the airport
The airport sits about 6 km from central Marrakech — 15 to 20 minutes by taxi depending on traffic. Two options work well.
- Store in the city: leave your bags at our Guéliz or Médina point on arrival and collect them before heading to the airport. This is the cheapest route, from 10 MAD per hour and 60 MAD per day and per bag.
- Airport pick-up or delivery: we collect your luggage from the airport, or bring it to you before your flight. The transfer costs 80 MAD, plus 20 MAD per additional bag.
How much time to allow
For an airport transfer, tell us the day before if you can, so we can match the slot to your flight time. Dropping bags in the city takes about five minutes, and both locations are open daily from 9:00 am to 9:30 pm.
If your flight leaves after 9:30 pm, collect your bags before closing or choose airport delivery — we set the time around your flight.
